The school Ski Trip took place over the half term break and this year, as with all the 30 plus years before, it was a great success. More fun than you could shake your ski stick at!  The staff were so proud of the students from start to finish.. On the coach ride to Austria students sang songs, watched films, but, most importantly, slept!  Building up energy for the fabulous week of ski-ing they had ahead of them.

Skier of the week was awarded to Amelia Bardsley for making such great progress and remaining enthusiastic and kind to others the whole time. The ski instructors, the PGL rep and teachers form other schools all told us how impressed they were with our students in terms of their behaviour, resilience, sense of humour, enthusiasm and how quickly they learned how to ski. Staff were so impressed by the students that they arranged and hosted a celebration breakfast on Thursday 9th March in the library for all of them.  Bring on next year!
