IT Technician

NJC Grade 5 SCP 7-8, Pro-rata salary £21,567 - £21,929 per annum

Monday – Friday 08:30 – 16:00 with 30 minutes unpaid break, 35 hours per week, Term Time Only Plus 5 (43 weeks).

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable IT technician to join our school based IT team. In an interesting and varied role, the post-holder will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of our IT provision through a range of duties that offer whole school support.

In this role you will, support the use of IT within the school environment through maintenance of IT software, hardware and related equipment and providing support to staff and pupils to ensure learning and administrative outcomes are maximised and under the direction of the IT Manager, support the development, management and monitoring of related processes and procedures to ensure effective and efficient delivery of proactive and responsive IT services.

Key Stage Administrator

NJC Grade 5 SCP 7-8

Pro-rata salary £16,591 - £16,871 per annum

30 hours per week, Term Time Only (38 weeks), Monday – Friday 08:15 – 14:45 with 30 minutes unpaid break

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive administrator to join our School Office at our Windmill Lane site. The post-holder will play a crucial role in supporting the day to day running of the School Office whilst also undertaking a range of duties that offer whole school support. You will provide timely and efficient support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to aid the smooth running of the schools’ systems and processes,  respond to telephone and face-to-face enquiries efficiently and in a professional and supportive manner, work with the Admissions Officer to support the annual admissions process for the incoming year 7 students and provide administrative support, as required by the Assistant Headteacher for each Key Stage, to meet the statutory requirements for school suspensions and permanent exclusions

Professional Clerk

NJC Grade 4: Spine Point 5-6

3 hrs per week £ 1,500 p.a, Term Time Only, including holiday entitlement

Meeting Attendance will be paid on an ad-hoc basis at the hourly rate of £ 11.39 plus enhancement.

Are you seeking a unique opportunity to combine your excellent administrative skills with professional clerking responsibilities? If you have experience of working in an education environment, in an administrative or comparable capacity, then this may be the role that you have been looking for! The main purpose of the role is to work effectively with the Chair of Governors, Headteacher and other governors in the capacity of Professional Clerk. Key responsibilities include minuting meetings, advising the governing body on constitutional matters, duties and powers. Full training through relevant professional bodies will be provided.

Due to the requirements of the role, you will need a flexible approach with a necessary commitment to supporting evening meetings.

Study Supervisors (Cover)

£12.18 - £12.38 per hour

Daily working hours are 08.30 – 15.10, Term Time Only (38 weeks)

If you have a passion for working with young people, and a love of learning, then this may be the opportunity that you have been looking for. You will need to be confident, responsive and adaptable to manage the day to day demands of a role where no two days are the same. This post is within our support staff workforce arrangements and does not require a teaching qualification. Our school is committed to continuing professional development. Relevant training to support the range of duties will be provided as part of the induction process.

We have a flexible workforce and can discuss working days and hours at interview. Normal working hours are 08:30 – 15.10 with a maximum of 30.50 hours per week.

Learning Support Tutor

Pro Rata Salary £20,463 – £20,807 per annum

37 hours per week, Term Time Only (38 weeks)

Are you a dynamic professional committed to understanding and supporting students to overcome barriers to engaging in learning? As part of supporting our alternative provision in school we are developing a refreshed approach to our management of student behaviour. As Learning Support Tutor, you will: support the highest standards of behaviour amongst students at Imberhorne school, support vulnerable and disengaged students individualised as appropriate, which allow students to access and engage with the curriculum and make progress, supervise the school alternative provision spaces, and communicate with key staff to ensure students have appropriate and adapted work to support their learning. 

The successful post holder will have a minimum standard of GCSE (grade A*-C or equivalent)
