Leading at KS3
We are delighted to announce the following students have been appointed as Key Stage 3 Leading Students for 2015-2016:Harry English, Jodi Coughlan, Tia Chipperfield, Joshua Frankhuijzen, Alette Moller and Aaliyah De Rona.
The students have been appointed from a strong and competitive field. As well as their initial application, they were required to participate in a two hour group interview where they discussed ideas for change on the subject of ‘How to enhance the lunch time experience for staff and students’. All the students came up with great ideas, some of which will be acted upon.
The Leading Students responsibilities will be wide and varied. They will have a key role as the face of the student body, including representation on the student council, helping with job interviews and consultation evenings. This year we will also be asking them to lead on ways the students can take more responsibility around school. The standard of leading students at KS3 has been consistently high and we are sure they will do a wonderful job.
