TRASH 2013 - 20th March 2013
The annual whole school TRASH event was held at the Jubilee Centre on 20th March. Each year it gets bigger and better with more recycled outfit designs, more models on the catwalk and more performers dancing, acting and entertaining the packed audience. Over 200 students contributed to this years show which is an astonishing acheivement for co-ordinator Rob Langstone, Science Teacher and Eco Schools Leader. TRASH aims to raise awareness of the plight of the Third World in the global clothing supply-chain. The money raised from the evening will go to charities that can help provide Fair Trade and funding eco projects around the school.
