Our Year 7 trips to Bodiam Castle were a little rainy, but nonetheless enjoyed by the students on 17th, 21st & 22nd March. The opportunity for learning beyond the classroom that these trips provided for our students is fantatsic and we are so grateful that our History staff took the time to organise the trips. The History curriculum the students are studying in Year 7 currently is the development of castles during the Middle Ages. A case-study of the very impressive 14th Century Bodiam Castle in East Sussex provided the perfect start.
