Imberhorne embarked on its first ever cricket tour on Friday 31st May. We set sail for the Isle of Wight with 12 boys from Years 8 and 9.  After an early start and a smooth crossing, the tired boys enjoyed a game of beach cricket before, unfortunately, losing their first game.  They soon bounced back though with a superb team performance against a West Sussex ‘select’ U16/17 side.  After a (friendly!) game amongst ourselves on the Sunday and a trip to Domino’s  for pizza we retreated back to the hotel for the awards evening and a chance to reminisce on a great tour.Awards went to:Best Batsman on tour - Harry WestgateBest Bowler on tour - Marcus AllyBest Tourist - Jake McCallum The students were, as usual, impeccably behaved and a credit to the school. Lots of fun had by all!
