Imberhorne School was invited to the Fairtrade National Supporters’ Conference at King’s College London on Saturday 17th October to run workshops for campaigners from across the country, in recognition of their outstanding work with Fairtrade over the past year.

On Tuesday 13th October, 30 of our Y8 Technology students spent the day at Upper School participating in a Design and Technology workshop to broaden and extend their experience of some of the many facets of the subject.

Congratulations to all our runners who competed in the Mid Sussex Schools Cross Country at East Court on Sunday 11th October.  The students all ran very well, a special mention must go to Oliver Dallas who came 4th in the boys race.

We are very pleased to introduce our new Key Stage 4 student leadership team: Billy Emery, Charlotte O'Neill, Esme Vincent and Gemma Wright in Year 11. Rikki Arnason

Imberhorne win the 12th Annual Adam Dabell Memorial Match held on 8th October On a thankfully dry, crisp and clear evening, in front of a large capacity crowd of, extremely good natured, mainly young people from both Imberhorne and Sackville schools. 

Congratulations to Lucy Gillam, Jessica Haynes, Patricia Glassborow and Annelise Furniss all in Year 8 for winning the Thales Computer Game Design Competition for schools.

After an extremely successful Year 9 season in 2014-2015, Imberhorne Year 10 Footballers ventured into the National Cup for  a tough encounter against London side St Cellia’s.

During September, A Level students conducted two days of Field Trips for their personal geographical investigations this year. Each student had to create their own Human and Physical question or hypothesis that they would test in the field.

On the beautifully sunny afternoon of September 25th the annual 2.5km interform cross country competition took place.

During the last week of June and the first week of July, 219 excited Year 8 students set off for La Grande Découverte.
