Over the course of 3 days, 9th, 11th and 12th November, the whole ofYear 8 travelled to London to visit the fabulous Victoria and Albert Museum.

On 10th November, Henry Grub and Niamh Herrett in Year 13 visited Poland on a one-day trip as part of the “Lessons from Auschwitz” programme they are taking part in, run by the Holocaust Educational Trust.

Our Year 13 Tanzanian exchange students have recently completed the first part of our long standing exchange programme with Minaki School in Tanzania. They spent the October half term and first week of November on an enriching adventure that will never be forgotten.

“Do you like Poetry a little more than when you came in?” was the question that Poet, Ash Dickinson asked  at the end of the Year 8 Poetry Workshops on 3rd and 4th November.  To which there was a resounding “Yes!” sung in unison from the whole class.

On Tuesday 13th October, 30 of our Y8 Technology students spent the day at Upper School participating in a Design and Technology workshop to broaden and extend their experience of some of the many facets of the subject.
