A massive congratulations to Abbie in Year 7 who was chosen in February to be part of the British Show Jumping Junior Sussex Academy team. Abbie competed in the Bury Farm Academy Show in the February Half Term, a strong class lots of fabulous young riders from all over England.

The culinary achievements of Brandon in Year 10 are outstanding. On 12th February, he came third in the Rotary Club Young Chef Cooking Competition finals at Merton College. Miss Farrow, Technology Teacher, went along to support Brandon and she was in awe of his healthy 3 course meal for two.

We were delighted when Charters Retirement Village in East Grinstead contacted us to support their tree planting event for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy.

Year 9s have been choosing their GCSE Options during the month of January, supported by a programme of mentoring, presentations and Q&A sessions.

Our Key Stage 4 students were offered a university style masterclass on 2nd Februray, delivered by our Leader of Geography, Mr Patrick Quigley.

Staff and students enjoyed a trip to Dear Evan Hansen in the West End lon 12th January to see Imberhorne alumni and Olivier award winner Sam Tutty in his lead role as Evan Hansen.

We are so pleased that Active Fit are back running the Imberhorne Gym suite for our students and their families to benefit from.

A new year and new beginnings has been the message for the first week back to school in the Spring Term. Highlighted to our Year 9s by the commencing of the GCSE Options Process.  Moving to a new Key Stage in school is all about new beginnings and starting a journey.
